About the Role
We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and availability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines using tools like Apache Kafka, Spark, or Flink.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
- Monitor data pipeline performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest data engineering trends and technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
- Experience with data warehousing solutions (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Certifications (Google Cloud Data Engineer, AWS Certified Big Data).
