About the Role
Join our caring team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential daily care to patients in a skilled nursing facility. You’ll work closely with nurses to ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining dignity and promoting independence. This role directly impacts quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Provide mobility assistance and transfer support
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Document care provided accurately
- Respond to call lights promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in state of practice
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of healthcare experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
