We’re hiring a dedicated English Teacher to join our urban public high school. You’ll develop engaging lesson plans and inspire students to achieve literacy excellence.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver standards-based instruction
- Assess student progress regularly
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Participate in PLC meetings
- Communicate with parents/guardians
- Sponsor extracurricular activities
Requirements
- State teaching certification in English
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Classroom management skills
- Knowledge of common core standards
- Cultural competency training
- Ability to pass background check
