About the Role
Green Valley Healthcare is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide essential patient care in our skilled nursing facility. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nurses.
- Help residents with mobility and transferring.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Document care provided and report concerns to supervisors.
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in the state of California.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Compassion and patience for elderly and disabled individuals.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
