About the Role
Support special needs students in achieving their educational goals as part of our dedicated special education team. You’ll work under teacher supervision to implement IEPs, provide one-on-one support, and create an inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with instructional activities
- Support student behavior management
- Help with personal care needs
- Prepare classroom materials
- Document student progress
- Escort students between classes
- Assist during therapies
Requirements
- High school diploma (required)
- Associate’s degree (preferred)
- Experience working with special needs
- Patience and empathy
- Ability to follow directions
- Basic computer skills
- CPR/First Aid certification
