About the Role
Sunrise Public Schools seeks passionate educators to join our 3rd grade teaching team. Develop engaging lesson plans, foster inclusive learning environments, and contribute to our students’ academic success in Phoenix’s diverse communities.
Responsibilities
- Create differentiated lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Conduct student assessments and track progress
- Implement positive classroom management strategies
- Collaborate with grade-level teaching team
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Participate in professional development workshops
- Supervise students during recess and lunch periods
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education
- Valid Arizona teaching certificate
- 2+ years classroom experience preferred
- ESL certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with educational technology
- Knowledge of STEM integration strategies
- Commitment to cultural competency
