About the Role
Provide essential nursing care and support to senior patients in an assisted living facility. Monitor health, administer treatments, and ensure compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects
- Change bandages and dress wounds
- Record patient health information and maintain accurate records
- Report changes in patient condition to RN or physician
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with active state license
- 3+ years experience in geriatrics or long-term care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centric approach
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong knowledge of geriatric care protocols
