About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at CityCare Hospital, you’ll provide essential hands-on care as part of our compassionate patient care team. Your role will be critical in ensuring patient comfort and assisting with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Help patients move, reposition, and walk
- Document patient care activities in electronic health records
- Respond to patient call lights and requests promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe patient environment
- Perform basic nursing duties like taking temperatures and blood pressure
- Collaborate with nurses and doctors to implement care plans
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Current state CNA certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Pass nursing assistant competency exam
- Clear criminal background check
- CPR certification required
- First Aid training preferred
