About the Role
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at BrightCare Health Services. You will provide essential patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents in our skilled nursing facility. Your role is vital in maintaining high standards of care and enhancing patient quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and document vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs.
- Follow infection control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and other healthcare staff.
- Ensure patient rooms are clean and comfortable.
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
