About the Role
Join our team as a Public Service Officer – Park Ranger and protect and preserve our natural and cultural resources while providing excellent visitor services.
Responsibilities
- Enforce park regulations and ensure public safety in assigned areas.
- Patrol park areas to monitor and report on resource conditions and visitor activities.
- Provide interpretive programs and educational services to park visitors.
- Collaborate with other park staff to plan and implement resource management projects and visitor services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant education or experience in environmental science, natural resource management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, public safety, or customer service preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding situations.
