About the Role
Lead the development of scalable cloud applications at a SaaS industry leader. This role involves architecting solutions, mentoring junior developers, and directly impacting product evolution. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Collaborate with product managers on feature specifications
- Troubleshoot complex production issues
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years experience in Java/Python backend development
- Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proven track record building RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
