About the Role
Innovatech Solutions seeks a Senior Software Engineer to architect distributed systems for our payment processing platform. You’ll lead technical design, implement microservices, and mentor junior developers while driving DevOps best practices. This role balances hands-on coding with strategic technical decision-making for high-volume applications.
Responsibilities
- Design RESTful APIs using Java/Kotlin
- Implement event-driven architecture with Kafka
- Optimize PostgreSQL/Redis performance
- Lead agile squad technical deliverables
- Enforce security/compliance standards (PCI)
- Conduct architecture design reviews
- Mentor 3-5 mid-level engineers
Requirements
- 5+ years developing production Java/Kotlin systems
- Expertise in Spring Boot/Kubernetes
- Experience with payment processing systems
- CI/CD pipeline implementation proficiency
- Cloud architecture design (AWS)
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Excellent documentation practices
