About the Role
Join BrightSpark Solutions as a Backend Software Engineer. Design and develop robust API solutions powering our award-winning SaaS platform, collaborating with Agile teams to deliver on-schedule enterprise digital transformations.
Responsibilities
- Develop RESTful APIs using Python/Django
- Optimize database queries for performance scalability
- Integrate with third-party cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Design architecture diagrams for complex systems
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and pair programming
- Mentor junior developers through onboarding
- Collaborate with UX leads to translate wireframes to code
- Monitor server metrics and implement system improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years backend programming in Python
- Experience with Git repository management
- Proficient in Django MVC architecture
- Familiarity with Docker containerization preferred
- Strong analytical problem solving skills
- Knowledge of security protocols (HTTPS, OAuth)
- Agile development environment experience
