About the Role
Support our nursing team by providing essential patient care in a compassionate and efficient manner. Focus on promoting patients’ comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with their daily hygiene needs such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and other measurements
- Ensure patient rooms are kept clean and organized
- Perform basic mobility assistance to include transfers and repositioning in bed
- Communicate with nursing and medical staff regarding patient health and care needs
- Document all care provided and report any concerns to the supervising nurse
Requirements
- Current certification as a Nurse Aide through the state’s required program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- 6 months of experience in a healthcare or senior care setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
