Job Description
About the Role
Develop tools and systems to improve our software engineering capabilities through automation and orchestration. Partner closely with development, operations and security teams to implement continuous integration pipelines that accelerate deployment cycles. Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or CircleCI
- Automate system deployment and infrastructure configuration using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Implement container orchestration with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm or EKS
- Collaborate closely with application teams to resolve deployment issues
- Monitor and optimize server performance, system scalability and availability
- Establish infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using HashiCorp tools
- Participate in on-call rotation for service monitoring and incident response
- Advocate for best practices in automation, monitoring and security
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps or similar software engineering experience
- Proficiency with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud platforms
- Strong background in CI/CD tooling, configuration management (Puppet/Ansible) and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Expertise in automated infrastructure provisioning and orchestration tools
- Experience implementing monitoring and alerting systems (DataDog, Prometheus)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
