About the Role
Join our accounting firm as an Accountant, specializing in SMB tax preparation, financial reporting, and compliance. You’ll work closely with clients to provide accurate financial insights and strategic tax planning.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual and business tax returns
- Analyze financial statements and provide insights
- Assist clients with bookkeeping and account reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Conduct client consultations about financial planning
- Help develop internal accounting processes
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit functions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years experience in accounting/public accounting
- CPA certification or candidates nearing completion
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks)
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Understanding of current tax laws and regulations
