Job Description
About the Role
Provide basic patient care under the supervision of medical staff. Assist with daily living activities and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Help patients with mobility, repositioning, and transfers.
- Serve meals and assist with feeding patients as needed.
- Change bed linens and maintain cleanliness of patient areas.
- Report any changes in patient status or concerns to nursing staff.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CNA certification in New Jersey.
- Previous experience as a CNA preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift patients.
- Current BLS certification.
