About the Role
Provide administrative support to Seattle Public Works department. Tasks include processing permit applications, managing constituent communications, and coordinating meeting logistics. This position involves extensive document management, database updates, and handling sensitive public records.
Responsibilities
- Process right-of-way permit applications
- Track project documentation using Accela software
- Answer citizen inquiries via phone/email
- Schedule safety inspections for field staff
- Prepare meeting minutes and agendas
- Maintain department fleet maintenance records
- Process purchase orders and vendor payments
Requirements
- 2+ years administrative experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Familiarity with municipal operations preferred
- Associate degree or equivalent
- Resident of Seattle required

- $42,000 – $47,000 yearly
