About the Role
Assist healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasks. Maintain electronic health records, perform clinical procedures, and ensure compliance with medical practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Take patient vital signs and document medical histories
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
- Perform EKG, phlebotomy, and laboratory tests
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA)
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially
