About the Role
Lead enterprise security strategy for national healthcare network. Oversee threat detection, compliance, and incident response while building a security-focused culture. Your leadership will directly protect patient data across 200+ clinical facilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security roadmap aligned with HIPAA/NIST
- Manage 15-member team of security engineers and analysts
- Oversee security operations center and incident response
- Conduct risk assessments and penetration testing
- Liaise with C-suite on security posture and investments
- Evaluate new security technologies and vendors
- Ensure compliance audits and regulatory reporting
Requirements
- CISSP/CISM certification + 10 years security leadership
- Healthcare industry experience with HIPAA compliance
- Expertise in cloud security (Azure preferred)
- Proven leadership of security operations teams
- Knowledge of medical device/IoT security frameworks
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, and zero-trust architectures
- Excellent crisis management and executive communication
