Job Description

About the Role

Advance quantum algorithm development for optimization problems critical to logistics and material science applications. Develop quantum error correction techniques while collaborating with hardware teams to co-design algorithm-processor architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Design superconducting quantum processor layouts
  • Implement quantum simulation frameworks in Qiskit
  • Develop algorithms for quantum advantage demonstrations
  • Publish research in premier scientific journals
  • Lead cross-functional quantum hardware/software integration
  • Secure intellectual property through patent filings

Requirements

  • PhD in Quantum Information/Physics/CS
  • 5+ years quantum circuit design experience
  • Publications in quantum algorithm development
  • Expertise with trapped ion/superconducting systems
  • Proficiency in Python/C++ quantum frameworks
  • Experience with cryogenic control systems
