About the Role
As Clinical Director of Oncology, you’ll manage patient care pathways and lead a team of specialists treating various cancer types. Strong leadership in clinical excellence required.
Responsibilities
- Develop operational strategies for oncology department
- Ensure clinical staff adhere to best practices and protocols
- Oversee daily operations of oncology units
- Manage budgets for department resources and projects
- Lead weekly clinical team meetings and case reviews
- Collaborate with research teams on clinical trials
- Serve as liaison between oncology team and hospital leadership
Requirements
- MD or DO with oncology fellowship
- 5+ years experience in oncology department management
- Board certified in oncology sub-specialties
- Strong leadership background with multi-disciplinary teams
- Knowledge of latest cancer treatment protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
