Job Description
About the Role
Play a crucial role in our infrastructure team by managing and optimizing our cloud-based environments. You’ll collaborate with software development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of our applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructures on AWS or Azure
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Automate system processes using scripting and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef
- Monitor and optimize application performance for reliability and efficiency
- Collaborate with development teams to define and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
- Develop and maintain system documentation to ensure seamless knowledge transfer
- Create and manage database systems, ensuring security and integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role
- In-depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and associated services
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of Linux systems administration
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with collaborative environments
