About the Role
Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge security frameworks protecting critical healthcare data and systems. Develop advanced threat detection strategies while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST and other regulatory standards in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
Responsibilities
- Design zero-trust architecture for cloud and on-prem environments
- Conduct security risk assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and lead breach investigations
- Implement security automation tools for threat detection
- Define PKI and identity/access management strategies
- Coordinate security audits and regulatory compliance reviews
- Evaluate emerging security technologies
- Train IT teams on security best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity or related field
- CISSP, CCSP or equivalent certifications
- 8+ years security engineering experience
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure healthcare environments)
- Deep knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, NIST)
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management
- Familiarity with medical device security challenges
- U.S. security clearance eligibility
