About the Role
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Ensure compliance with NEC standards and optimal electrical safety.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Test electrical systems and diagnose malfunctions
- Repair and replace defective electrical components
- Collaborate with contractors and architects for construction projects
- Ensure electrical work meets local and national safety codes
Requirements
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license from relevant state authority
- 3-5 years electrician experience in various settings
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and system design
- Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in installation
- Effective communication skills for coordination with project teams
