About the Role
We are hiring a Parks Maintenance Worker to help maintain and improve our city’s parks and recreational areas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping public spaces clean and safe.
Responsibilities
- Perform groundskeeping duties (mowing, trimming, landscaping)
- Maintain park facilities and equipment
- Remove litter and debris
- Assist with minor repairs
- Prepare athletic fields for events
- Operate light machinery and hand tools
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and groundskeeping
- Team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to work weekends as needed
