About the Role
The City Police Department seeks qualified Police Officers to protect and serve the community. You’ll patrol assigned areas, respond to emergencies, and enforce laws while maintaining positive community relations.
Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas
- Respond to emergency calls
- Conduct traffic stops
- Investigate incidents
- Prepare detailed reports
- Testify in court when required
- Participate in community policing
Requirements
- State police certification or ability to obtain
- 21+ years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean criminal record
- Physical fitness standards
- Excellent judgment skills
- Residence within city limits (within 6 months)
