Responsibilities
- Perform complex brain and spinal surgeries including tumor resections and trauma interventions
- Lead multidisciplinary tumor board discussions
- Supervise resident surgeons and fellows
- Publish clinical research in peer-reviewed journals
- Implement innovative surgical technologies like intraoperative MRI
- Participate in global health initiatives
Requirements
- MD or DO from accredited institution
- Board-certified/eligible in Neurological Surgery
- 8+ years post-residency experience
- Fellowship in complex spinal or neuro-oncology
- Demonstrated research portfolio
- Minnesota medical license (or eligibility)
