About the Role
Join Mayo Clinic’s elite cardiac surgery team performing complex heart/lung procedures and pioneering minimally invasive techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform CABG and heart transplant surgeries
- Lead clinical trials for new surgical approaches
- Train surgical fellows and residents
- Collaborate on hybrid OR equipment development
- Maintain 1:3 surgical call rotation
- Publish outcomes research
- Participate in international medical missions
Requirements
- MD with Board Certification in CT Surgery
- 7+ years operative experience
- 500+ major cardiac cases performed
- Fellowship-trained in cardiothoracic surgery
- Current Minnesota medical license
- Strong research publication record
- Robotic surgery certification
