About the Role
Plan and deliver engaging lessons to elementary students. Foster a positive learning environment and support student development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance academic programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive student behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress
- Coordinate with special education staff for student support services
- Attend professional development workshops and staff meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- State teaching certification
- 1-3 years of classroom teaching experience (preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
