About the Role
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide basic patient care, assist nurses, and promote a comfortable and healing environment for residents. Support daily living activities and ensure patient comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Measure and record vital signs.
- Report changes in patient status to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain cleanliness of patient areas.
- Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Document patient care activities in medical records.
- Ensure compliance with infection control procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Registered with the state Nurse Aide Registry.
- 6 months to one year of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage physical demands of the role.
- Empathy, patience, and a caring attitude.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
