About the Role
Provide instructional coverage in various subject areas at the elementary level. Maintain a positive learning environment and follow lesson plans. Make a difference in the lives of students.
Responsibilities
- Follow lesson plans and classroom procedures established by the regular classroom teacher.
- Provide instructional coverage for a variety of subjects and grade levels.
- Manage classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Participate in in-service training and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Substitute teaching certification or equivalent.
- Experience working with elementary age students preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt to various classroom environments and teaching styles.
- Clear background check and fingerprinting.
