About the Role
Philadelphia Social Services seeks Case Workers to support families accessing SNAP, Medicaid, and housing assistance. Make a direct impact by connecting vulnerable populations with critical resources and advocating for systemic change.
Responsibilities
- Conduct client interviews
- Process benefit applications
- Maintain case documentation
- Refer clients to partner agencies
- Conduct home visits
- Attend court hearings
- Participate in policy advocacy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Social Work or related
- 2+ years human services experience
- Knowledge of PA benefit programs
- Cultural competency training
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Clear background check
