About the Role
Skyline Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Inspector for our F-35 engine parts manufacturing plant. You will implement strict quality control measures, ensuring our products meet the highest standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily quality inspections on machined components
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers)
- Prepare inspection process logs and documentation
- Maintain knowledge of AS9100 aerospace quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams on quality deviations
- Conduct failure analysis for non-conforming parts
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2+ years direct experience in advanced manufacturing QA
- Familiarity with GD&T, AS9100, and IPC standards
- Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must pass background check for ITAR compliance
