About the Role
Join our educational team as a High School Math Teacher at Lincoln High School. You’ll create engaging lesson plans and support student success in algebra, geometry, and calculus. Your role will directly impact student achievement and future opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop daily lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards
- Teach assigned subjects including algebra I & II, geometry, and pre-calculus
- Mentor students needing tutoring or extra academic support
- Collaborate with fellow math teachers on curriculum development
- Administer formative assessments and final exams
- Participate in district professional development workshops
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or math-related field required, master’s preferred
- Valid state teaching certification in math/secondary education
- 2+ years teaching experience at high school level
- Strong classroom management skills in diverse environments
- Proficiency in district-provided learning management systems
- Availability for occasional before/after school meetings
