About the Role
Join our dedicated team at City General Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. You’ll provide high-quality care to patients in critical conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort. Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
- Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Illinois.
- 2+ years of experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
