About the Role
Assist customers with product selection, operate the cash register, and maintain the sales floor. Impact customer satisfaction and contribute to store sales.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional service.
- Handle transactions, including cash, credit, and returns.
- Maintain the visual appeal of the store and stock merchandise.
- Process and ship online orders accurately.
- Provide customers with product knowledge and recommendations.
- Participate in promotional events and sales during peak seasons.
- Operate and maintain store equipment such as cash registers.
- Ensure store cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Customer-focused and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
