Leading international accounting firm is seeking a Mid-Level Accountant experienced in financial reporting and audit processes to join wealth management team. The position emphasizes accuracy and financial compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and perform audits according to accounting standards
- Monitor transaction verifications to ensure compliance and identify potential discrepancies
- Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary control measures
- Provide analytical reports to support management decision-making
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and SEC guidelines
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification preferred
- Experience in auditing financial statements for public and private companies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel
- Working knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations
- Capable of managing multiple audit projects concurrently
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Relevant experience under the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB)
