About the Role
Sunrise Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our skilled nursing unit. You’ll provide essential patient care under RN supervision, supporting daily living activities and monitoring vital signs. This role offers direct impact on patient comfort and recovery in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and mobility needs
- Record vital signs including blood pressure and temperature
- Serve meals and assist with feeding as required
- Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Transport patients to treatment areas using wheelchairs
- Document care activities per facility standards
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in Texas
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification required
- 6+ months experience in acute care setting preferred
- Physical stamina for patient transfers
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to work day/night rotation schedule
