About the Role
We are searching for Classroom Aides to support students in the classroom. This role involves assisting teachers, supervising students, and providing individualized support to ensure a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in classroom management and instruction
- Supervise students during activities and recess
- Provide individualized attention to students with special needs
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of educational materials
- Monitor student behavior and report relevant information to the teacher
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
- Help with record-keeping and administrative tasks
- Support students in developing social and academic skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to work with diverse student needs
- Basic understanding of educational principles and practices
- Ability to follow instructions and guidelines
- Flexibility to adapt to different classroom settings
- Basic computer literacy for record-keeping
