About the Role
Sunrise Public Schools seeks a 3rd-grade teacher to inspire young learners in a Title I school. Responsibilities include lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and fostering inclusive classrooms. This role directly contributes to closing achievement gaps.
Responsibilities
- Develop standards-aligned lesson plans
- Administer formative assessments
- Collaborate with special education staff
- Maintain parent communication via monthly updates
- Implement PBIS behavioral strategies
- Attend IEP meetings as required
Requirements
- Valid state teaching license (K-6)
- BA/BS in Education or related field
- 2+ years classroom experience preferred
- ESL certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with Google Classroom
- Clear background check
