About the Role
We’re seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines, databases, and big data systems that enable our organization to extract valuable insights from data.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide robust data solutions
- Optimize data processing and analytical tools for performance and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues
- Document data models, lineage, and metadata
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and at least one modern data processing framework (Apache Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehousing
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
