About the Role
Seeking a passionate Middle School Science Teacher to join our team. You’ll develop engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards, foster critical thinking, and create an inclusive classroom environment. This role directly impacts students’ scientific literacy and lifelong learning.
Responsibilities
- Deliver daily instruction in general science topics
- Design hands-on laboratory experiments
- Monitor student progress through assessments
- Collaborate with special education staff
- Lead after-school science club
- Maintain lab equipment inventory
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences
- Implement IEP accommodations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Education or related field
- State teaching certification
- 2+ years classroom experience
- Familiarity with NGSS standards
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Experience with diverse learners
- Strong classroom management skills
- Proficiency with Google Classroom
