About the Role
St. Mary’s Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our busy inpatient unit. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans and ensure patient safety. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for excellence in community healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Coordinate with physicians and specialist teams
- Respond to emergencies and rapid changes in patient status
Requirements
- Active RN license in Illinois
- 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
