About the Role
We’re hiring a Logistics Coordinator to support our supply chain operations at Midwestern Distribution. You’ll coordinate shipments, manage carrier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of goods. This mid-level role is ideal for organized professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and track inbound/outbound shipments
- Communicate with carriers and suppliers
- Prepare shipping documents and customs paperwork
- Monitor delivery performance metrics
- Resolve shipping issues and delays
- Maintain inventory records
- Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years logistics/supply chain experience
- Familiarity with transportation management systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask in deadline-driven environment
