Job Description
About the Role
Provide essential daily living support to residents in our skilled nursing facility. Assist with personal care, mobility, and health monitoring under nursing supervision. Contribute to creating a compassionate environment for elderly and rehabilitation patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs and health changes
- Support mobility and safe transfer techniques
- Serve meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain clean and sanitary resident environments
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements
- Valid state CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift/move patients (50+ lbs)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Understanding of infection control protocols
- Empathy and strong communication skills
