About the Role
Kirkland’s market-leading corporate practice seeks a senior attorney to advise on billion-dollar private equity transactions, SPAC mergers, and cross-border acquisitions. Manage due diligence teams and lead client negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Structure complex merger agreements for Fortune 500 clients
- Conduct SEC filings for public company transactions
- Manage 10+ junior associates on deal documentation
- Develop tax-optimized acquisition strategies
- Lead client pitches for technology and healthcare M&A
Requirements
- JD from top 14 law school with 8+ years BigLaw experience
- Admitted to NY State Bar
- Expertise in Delaware corporate law and Dodd-Frank regulations
- Portable $5M+ book of business preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin or German assets
