Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons with procedures as needed
- Monitor patient vitals during surgery
- Administer anesthesia as permitted
- Assess post-surgical patient status
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams
- Educate patients and families on recovery care
- Maintain accurate medical records
Requirements
- RN degree with active nursing license
- 3-5 years OR experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques
- Expert patient assessment abilities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal communication
- Team-oriented and adaptable to changes
