About the Role
Conduct groundbreaking research in quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery. Collaborate with our partner biotech firms to solve complex molecular modeling problems intractable for classical computers.
Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for chemistry
- Implement simulations on quantum hardware
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical researchers
- Publish findings in top scientific journals
- Optimize algorithms for noise mitigation
- Contribute to quantum software development
- Mentor junior research staff
- Present at international conferences
Requirements
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Quantum Computation
- 3+ years postdoctoral research experience
- Published papers in quantum algorithms
- Experience with Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Strong mathematical and theoretical physics foundation
- Knowledge of computational chemistry methods
- Software development skills (Python/C++)
- Experience with quantum hardware access
