Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components for aircraft systems
- Perform finite element analysis & stress calculations
- Conduct failure analysis on materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Develop technical specifications and testing procedures
- Participate in concept design reviews
- Stay updated on aerospace materials
- Ensure designs meet FAA regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering required.
- 5-7 years aerospace component design experience.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA)
- Fluency in ANSYS or equivalent FEA tools
- Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft materials
- Experience with thermal analysis and fatigue modeling
- Proficiency in GD&T practices
- Strong communication and documentation skills
